Dr. Stu Asay, PE

Dr. Stu Asay, PE is Senior Director of Research Programs for IAPMO. He has served as the standards coordinator and executive director of ASSE International and he participates in several standards committees throughout North America. His education includes degrees in civil and environmental engineering and business. He is a registered professional engineer in seven states, a certified plumbing inspector by IAPMO and ICC, and an ASSE Certified backflow prevention assembly tester, repairer, and cross-connection control surveyor. Prior to joining IAPMO, he published Drinking Water and Backflow Prevention magazine for 22 years.
